In order to further promote the traditional virtues of the Chinese nation in helping the weak and the disabled, and create a good atmosphere for the whole society to care for and help the disabled, on May 17, the Yanji Xincun Street Social Organization Service Center and the Yanji Xincun Street Comprehensive Social Work Station jointly held the "Gather Love, Share the Beauty" Disabled Day public welfare activity.
Around us, there is such a group of children who always seem to be immersed in their own world, and it is difficult for people to get into their hearts, they are called "children of the stars".
On the day of the event, the "Ji Ai Pavilion" public welfare exhibition area in Yanji Xincun Street not only displayed the handicraft works of the Yanji Xincun Street Disabled Persons' Federation, but also held the "Brightest Star" star children's painting exhibition, so that more people can understand the artistic talent and tenacity of special children. The site also provided legal publicity, policy publicity, rehabilitation consultation and other services, which not only provided practical help for the disabled and their families, but also promoted the improvement of community civilization and livability.
At the same time, at the Shuifeng Road Good Neighbor Public Welfare and Convenience Market, volunteers from social organizations, co-construction units and residential areas in the jurisdiction gathered together to provide a number of convenient services such as blood sugar measurement, blood pressure measurement, public welfare haircuts, and oral examinations for past residents. These services are not only convenient for people with disabilities, but also allow residents to feel the warmth and care of the community.
The holding of the public welfare activity of "Gathering Love and Sharing Beauty" for the Disabled not only demonstrated the fruitful achievements of the street in helping the disabled, but also inspired more social organizations and caring people to participate in the action of helping the disabled.
