May 12, 2024 is the 16th National Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Day in mainland China. In order to further enhance the awareness of disaster prevention and mitigation among the people in the jurisdiction and improve the awareness and ability of emergency avoidance, the Wulingyuan District Fire and Rescue Brigade, together with the District Emergency Management Bureau, the District Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau, the District Market Supervision and Administration Bureau and other departments, jointly carried out a disaster prevention and mitigation publicity activity with the theme of "Everyone Stresses Safety and Everyone Knows How to Respond to Emergencies".
The activities mainly popularize and publicize the knowledge of disaster prevention and mitigation of various natural disasters such as fires, earthquakes, floods, lightning strikes, typhoons, and road traffic, fire, electricity, and gas leakage to residents and tourists by setting up consultation points, placing publicity display boards, hanging theme banners, answering questions, distributing leaflets, and answering questions with prizes.
In this activity, more than 800 copies of various brochures, more than 500 brochures, more than 300 gifts, and more than 200 people received various types of disaster prevention and mitigation consultations.
