Is the job of food delivery a shame?

In recent years, with the development of the sharing economy, takeaway delivery workers have frequently appeared in every corner of the city.

However, the debate about whether the job of delivering food is a shame has often surfaced.

Is the job of food delivery a shame? A takeaway, a dignity!

Here, I will explain my views and suggestions on the food delivery industry through Wu Qunxue's 163 rule.

One principle, six reasons, three suggestions, if the three suggestions I put forward are indeed adopted, it will definitely change the development situation of the food delivery industry.

Isn't that the reason for that?

Adhere to one principle: the values of respect and diversity

With such a principle, it is possible to adopt my three recommendations. Because every occupation is part of the social division of labor, there is no distinction between high and low. Respect for labor, regardless of its form, should be treated with equal respect.

Therefore, the work of food delivery is not a shame, but a sign of social vitality and inclusiveness.

Clarify the six reasons: To really solve the problem with three suggestions, it is necessary to understand the reasons for the emergence and rise of the food delivery industry, which in my opinion are nothing more than six reasons.

1. Consumer demand: With the acceleration of the pace of life, food delivery services have become an indispensable part of many people's daily lives. The hard work of the delivery people satisfies the immediate needs of consumers and promotes the convenience of society.

2. Economic downturn: The current economic downturn, the unemployment rate is high, and the mobile employment characteristics of the food delivery industry can sustain livelihoods.

3. Career autonomy: Delivery workers can choose when and where they work, which is a high degree of flexibility for many people who work part-time or need to take care of their families.

4. Science and technology pull: With the development of science and technology, the food delivery industry has also been able to flourish, and the food delivery staff not only supports the power of science and technology in the food delivery industry, but also promotes the development of the whole society.

5. Social value: While ensuring people's daily catering needs, delivery workers have also contributed to economic development, reflected social value, and indirectly promoted the development of the catering industry and logistics industry.

6. Responsibility: Delivery workers are very hard, many of them carry the burden of life, come and go in the wind and rain every day, exchange hard work for remuneration, and pay silently for the life of families, children and parents.

Three suggestions were made:

As I said earlier, if these three suggestions are indeed adopted, it will definitely change the development situation of the food delivery industry.

Isn't that the reason for that?

1. Suggestions to enhance professional identity: As the public's concept of professional equality deepens, more and more people begin to understand and respect the work of delivery workers. This will lead to a greater sense of self-identity among the delivery workers, which in turn will boost their sense of professional pride.

2. Recommend standardizing the industry: In order to protect the rights and interests of workers, the government and all sectors of society may introduce more policies to regulate the food delivery industry, provide better protection for food delivery workers, and further enhance the professional image.

3. Suggest that the whole society should give help: All sectors of society should pay more attention to the food delivery industry and care for food delivery workers, which will help break the stereotype of the profession and promote the society's pluralistic recognition and acceptance of all occupations.
