How can takeaway be healthy and delicious? The report reveals the choice habits of professionals in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou

How to eat healthy while ensuring fast and delicious food is a problem closely related to public life. A few days ago, Zespri and Xinhuanet jointly released and jointly planned with Meituan the "Physical Examination Report on Takeaway Nutrition for Workplace People".

The report takes 15 CBD (central business districts) in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou as examples, and investigates the takeaway choices of migrant workers in the workplace. The report found that Beijing is the region with the largest purchase of high-carb foods such as rice, noodles and steamed buns, accounting for 20.3% of takeaway orders. Guangzhou followed with 19.9%, and Shanghai, which accounted for the smallest of the three, also reached 18.6%. For orders for fried chicken, barbecue, hamburgers and other meats, Shanghai and Beijing accounted for 19.7% and 19.3% respectively, and Guangzhou accounted for 16.8%. In terms of the choice of heavy oil and spicy food such as spicy hot, dry pot and skewers, Beijing once again occupied the top spot, accounting for 17.0% of the order volume, while Shanghai and Guangzhou accounted for a slightly lower proportion, 15.3% and 13.2% respectively.

It can be seen from the above data that for migrant workers in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, the takeaway orders of high-carbs, heavy oil, heavy spicy and meaty are close to or more than 50%, and people prefer heavy taste, high-carb and meat foods when making takeaway choices. This also shows that takeaway can basically meet the needs of migrant workers for fat, protein and sugar.

However, the report also points out that fresh fruit is largely invisible in takeaways. Zespri's survey results show that 45% of consumers order milk tea more than three times a week, but less than 11% of consumers order fruit delivery every day. Insufficient intake of fruits can lead to nutritional imbalances and even health effects.

So, on the premise of not affecting the efficiency and convenience of take-out, how to improve the relatively nutritional imbalance of dietary habits? Zespri used the "Healthy Regular Investment Station" to give the answer.

Zespri will set up health regular investment stations in Beijing from May 16 to 22 at the North Triangle Plaza of China Central Place in Beijing, Guangzhou International Trade Center, and from May 16 to 28 at Shanghai Crystal Center. Zespri hopes that through this little golden fruit, we can move towards health with everyone, so that more migrant workers can easily start the first step of healthy regular investment, and bring health and surprises home together.

Zespri, as the world's leading kiwifruit brand, has been committed to promoting a healthy diet and lifestyle by providing consumers with high-quality, high-standard, more nutritious and more delicious kiwifruit products, encouraging people to eat better and live healthier.
