Green transportation, low-carbon transformation
May 13 to 19 this year is the National Energy Conservation Publicity Week, and May 15 is the National Low Carbon Day. The theme of this year's National Energy Conservation Publicity Week is "Green Transformation, Energy Conservation", and the theme of the National Low Carbon Day is "Green and Low-Carbon, Beautiful China". The Notice of the General Office of the Ministry of Transport on Carrying out the Energy Conservation Publicity Week and National Low Carbon Day Activities in the Transportation Industry (Jiao Ban Planning Letter [2024] No. 935) clarifies that the theme of the 2024 Energy Conservation Publicity Week in the Transportation Industry is "Green Transportation, Low-carbon Transformation".
In order to fully implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, thoroughly implement Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization, completely, accurately and comprehensively implement the new development concept, accelerate the construction of a new development pattern, strive to promote high-quality development, implement a comprehensive conservation strategy, increase energy conservation and carbon reduction, vigorously publicize the effectiveness of green transportation construction, advocate green and low-carbon travel for the public, and create a strong atmosphere of energy conservation and low carbon. We will actively carry out energy conservation and carbon reduction publicity activities, further popularize the concept and knowledge of green development, publicize the advanced experience and outstanding results of green and low-carbon transportation in our city, promote the application of new green and low-carbon technologies and new measures in the industry, create an atmosphere of energy conservation and carbon reduction in the whole industry, and comprehensively promote the green and low-carbon transformation and development of transportation.
