In recent years, with the rapid development of the aerospace industry such as the construction and operation of the continental space station, the lunar exploration project, and deep space exploration, the commercial aerospace track has also ushered in vigorous opportunities and entered the "fast lane" of development. This year's government work report mentions commercial aerospace for the first time, and classifies it as a new quality productivity. Beijing is the main source and development center of commercial aerospace, and has gathered a large number of specialized and new commercial aerospace enterprises to continuously build a highland of innovation.
In the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone, there are a large number of leading commercial aerospace enterprises. Among them, Blue Arrow Aerospace is the first batch of commercial aerospace enterprises established in the mainland, and the self-developed Suzaku 2 has become the world's first liquid oxygen methane launch vehicle successfully put into orbit. It is expected that in the first half of next year, the Suzaku-3 reusable launch vehicle will be launched at an opportune time.

Zhang Changwu, chairman of Blue Arrow Aerospace, introduced that Suzaku 3 is a carrier rocket with a diameter of 4.5 meters and a height of more than 70 meters. In a single use, it is a large to heavy launch vehicle with a capacity of more than 20 tons. On the one hand, it can more efficiently promote the construction of national satellite Internet projects and major space infrastructure. On the other hand, in the future, the carrying price can also be reduced from the current average of 50,000 or 60,000 yuan per kilogram to less than 20,000 yuan per kilogram.

According to public data, at present, the number of key commercial aerospace enterprises in the city has reached 157. Galaxy Power Aerospace is a national-level specialized and new little giant enterprise, dedicated to space launch services. This year, the company plans to complete the commercial launch of 10 to 12 "Ceres-1" small solid launch vehicles, and realize the first orbital launch of the "Zhishenxing-1" medium and large liquid launch vehicle.
Liu Baiqi, founder and CEO of Galaxy Power Aerospace Company, said that this year, we will focus on key technologies for reusable and recycled launch vehicles, including recycled guidance and control technology, and deep variable thrust technology of engines, and strive to achieve major breakthroughs as much as possible. Reusable rockets are the direction of the development of rocket technology in the future, at present, the benefits are not so obvious when the number of recycling is small, but after the future rocket is reused many times and the implementation of flights, the cost of rocket launch may only be one-tenth or even one-tenth of the current one-third.

Among the city's commercial aerospace head echelon, Beijing Zhongke Aerospace Co., Ltd., the first mixed-ownership commercial aerospace enterprise in China, plans to achieve the first "space tourism" manned flight in China in 2028, leading the commercial aerospace to open up a new track.
Li Xinyu, vice president of Beijing Zhongke Aerospace Technology Co., Ltd., said that two prerequisites in technology and management are needed to let the space economy go down the altar and go to the people. For the long-term planning of space tourism, at present, a strategic partnership has been signed with China Travel Service Corporation. "Space tourism is probably like this, carrying passengers to the adjacent space of up to 100 kilometers, the whole journey takes about 100 seconds, experiencing overweight and weightlessness, looking at our beautiful earth from a very intuitive angle, and carrying about 5 to 7 passengers each time."

In 2015, the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) and other departments jointly issued the Medium and Long-Term Development Plan for National Civil Space Infrastructure, which explicitly encourages private enterprises to develop commercial aerospace. In this year's government work report, it is proposed that the mainland will actively build new growth engines such as commercial aerospace, which is the first time that commercial aerospace has been included in the government work report. Beijing is the main source and development center of commercial aerospace, especially in Yizhuang, Beijing, which has gathered more than 50 market players with aerospace as its main business.
