On May 10, the Pu'er City Museum held an exhibition on the history and culture of Pu'er tea in Shiping County.

At the event site, the Pu'er Museum carefully prepared 20 mobile exhibition boards with Pu'er tea culture as the content, taking visitors into the unique and long-standing world of Pu'er tea culture with "World Tea Source", "One Leaf for a Thousand Years", "Tea Customs and Tea Art", "Ancient Tea Horse Road", "Tea Industry Revitalization" and "Jingmai Mountain" as the main line.
The exquisite exhibition boards attracted many tourists to stop and appreciate, and the commentator's passionate explanations and interactive Q&A made the masses and tourists deeply feel the rich Pu'er tea culture and the important position of Pu'er as the "world tea source".
Taste the aroma of Pu'er tea
The Pu'er City Museum also brought Pu'er tea from Jingmai Mountain, a world cultural heritage, and spread a tea ceremony at the event site of the Shiping Confucian Temple, inviting visitors to taste the tea on the spot, taste the fragrance of Pu'er tea, and experience the charm of Pu'er.
At the tea ceremony, the teachers of the Pu'er City Museum and the local people in Shiping had an in-depth exchange on the historical relationship between Shiping and Pu'er tea, and the response was enthusiastic.
On the occasion of the International Museum Day on May 18, 2024, the Pu'er Museum will hold a mobile museum activity in Shiping, which is not only to enhance cultural exchanges between the two places, but also to reflect the innovative working methods of the museums of the two places in combination with their own conditions, aiming to improve the satisfaction of the masses, enrich the cultural life of the masses, create a good social atmosphere for the protection of cultural heritage, and build a bridge of communication and interaction between the museum and the public.
