On May 10, the Pu'er Municipal People's Procuratorate and the Pu'er Fire and Rescue Detachment held the 2024 Pu'er City "Inspection and Elimination" Collaboration Work Conference to summarize the work experience and results in 2023 and deploy and promote various tasks in 2024. The meeting made it clear that in 2024, the city's procuratorial organs and fire departments will focus on the six aspects of "adhering to the leadership of party building, establishing and improving the data sharing and interconnection mechanism, continuously improving the level of grassroots fire protection force construction, focusing on consolidating the construction of urban and rural fire protection infrastructure, carrying out systematic risk and hidden danger investigation and rectification, and carrying out personnel ability and quality improvement projects".
In terms of continuing to promote the cooperation of "inspection and elimination", the meeting emphasized that the first is to recognize the grim situation faced by the current fire prevention and control work. It is necessary to learn the lessons of various recent fire accidents, make full use of administrative and judicial means, promote the performance of fire safety supervision responsibilities by entities at all levels, plug regulatory loopholes, improve institutional mechanisms, and improve the level of modernization of fire safety governance capabilities. It is necessary to summarize and solidify the experience and practices of "inspection and elimination" collaborative work through the handling of typical cases and promote them. Conduct a "retrospective" review of key areas in a timely manner, and dare to file a lawsuit in accordance with the law for those where the rectification is not in place and meet the requirements for prosecution, so as to achieve the effect of "handling one case, governing one area, and benefiting one party".
