David Lo, an OUB Chair Professor of Computer Science and Director of the Information and Systems Cluster at School of Computing and Information Systems, Singapore Management University. He leads the Software Analytics Research (SOAR) group. His research interest is in the intersection of software engineering, cybersecurity, and data science, encompassing socio-technical aspects and analysis of different kinds of software artifacts, with the goal of improving software quality and security and developer productivity.

His work has been published in major and premier conferences and journals in the area of software engineering, AI, and cybersecurity attracting substantial interest from the community. His work has been supported by NRF, MOE, NCR, AI Singapore, and several international research projects. He has won more than 15 international research and service awards including 6 ACM SIGSOFT Distinguished Paper Awards.

He has received a number of international honors including IEEE Fellow (class of 2022, through Computer Society), Fellow of Automated Software Engineering (class of 2021), and ACM Distinguished Member (class of 2019).

• Full-time research assistant

Job Responsibilities:

- Explore different attack threats for large models (LLM, VLM, etc).

- Research and design effective large-scale model defense methods.

- Experimentally verify the proposed design and method, write a paper to organize and publish the research results.

Job Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree graduates in computer, statistics, mathematics, etc.

- Self-motivated, passionate about scientific research, and persevering.

- Have solid programming skills and a foundation in mathematics.

- Strong English reading, writing and communication skills.

- Computer vision, natural research processing, data mining, machine learning, especially large models, relevant research experience and paper presenters are plus.

Salary:

Provide 2w+ RMB monthly salary, 13 months salary, and one month's salary of the project terminal bonus. Support participation in international academic conferences to present accepted papers.

Starts with a one-year contract. For those with excellent work performance, the contract can be renewed, and there is also the opportunity to apply for a full scholarship for doctoral students.

• Part-time Research Assistant (Visiting Research Students)

Job Responsibilities:

Job Requirements:

- Master's or doctoral students majoring in computer, statistics, mathematics and other related majors.

- Strong English reading, writing and communication skills.

- Bonus points for those with research experience related to large models.

- Have published first-author papers in well-known journals or conferences in computer vision, data mining, natural research processing, machine learning and other related fields.

Salary:

Provide 1w+ RMB monthly salary. Support participation in international academic conferences to present accepted papers.

Starts with a six-month contract. The contract can be renewed for those with excellent work performance.
