During this year's "May Day" holiday, the Palace Museum, the China Archaeological Museum, the Sanxingdui Museum and other cultural and museum institutions are full of people every day. According to statistics, the national first-class museums have reached the reception ceiling for three consecutive days.
In the Digital Intelligence Experience Hall in the ancient city of Liangzhu in Yuhang, Zhejiang, a 50-meter digital scroll is spread out in front of them, and the characters and scenes are vivid, allowing children to immerse themselves in the bravery and wisdom of the ancients. At the Chinese Character Museum in Anyang, Henan Province, a new interesting Chinese character class allows everyone to fully experience the infinite charm of the evolution of characters.
In the Qufu Sankong Scenic Area, tourists experience the opening ceremony of the auspicious morning bell and music and dance to welcome guests, participate in the activities of Confucian classic rubbing, Wei compilation and other activities, and feel the wisdom of the ancients;
During the "May Day" holiday, the red cultural heritage and the old revolutionary sites have ushered in a large number of "research and study tour" teams. In the first three days of the holiday, Jinggangshan received nearly 140,000 tourists.
The National Archaeological Site Park, which combines natural landscapes and archaeological sites, has also attracted a large number of cultural and museum tour groups. In the newly built research town of Lingjiatan, Anhui Province, children are concentrating on imitating pottery samples from more than 5,000 years ago to make their own pottery ornaments. According to incomplete statistics from the State Administration of Cultural Heritage, more than 6,000 museums and 55 national archaeological site parks across the country received nearly 40 million visitors in the first three days of the May Day holiday, reaching the highest level in the same period in history.
