On May 1, the "Children's Companion Home" of Jingui Community, Heping Street, Da'an District, together with the social workers of Zigong City, organized children's handmade micro-landscape DIY activities with the theme of "Unlimited Creativity, Handmade Future", cultivating children's hands-on ability, creative thinking and spirit of unity and cooperation through handmade, and also providing a platform for children to show themselves and communicate and interact. Fifteen children and their parents from the district participated in the event.
During the activity, the volunteers introduced the functions and varieties of small plants and the precautions for planting small plants. Subsequently, the children completed the planting step by step under the teacher's patient explanation. During the production process, the children exchanged ideas with each other, shared production skills, and actively interacted with their parents, collaborated with each other, and completed the production together. Throughout the process, the children showed rich imagination and creativity, and also reflected the children's personalized creativity.
Parents have expressed their gratitude to the community for carrying out such activities, allowing the children to experience the joy of making and the fun of artistic creation, enriching the children's imagination, creativity and hands-on ability.
The person in charge of the community said that in the future, the Jingui community will organize more similar children's activities, pay more attention to the richness of activities, and meet the needs of children of different ages.
