Last Saturday night (27th), a Chinese bar in Milan accidentally poured detergent into a guest's wine glass as wine, causing a big disaster.
According to reports from Italy's Corriere della Sera, Fanpage, and Leggo, a 51-year-old woman and her partner in Milan came to this Chinese bar for a light meal on Saturday night. They're already regular visitors here.
After drinking two glasses of wine, the woman continued to order. The barrietress picks up a wine bottle in the kitchen and refills the guests.

However, as soon as the woman took a sip, she felt something was wrong and tried to induce vomiting on herself.
Due to the intense discomfort, the woman was then taken to the emergency room of San Carlo Hospital, near the bar.
The doctor found that the liquid she drank was actually detergent, causing burns to her mouth, throat and esophagus. Although not life-threatening, it may leave permanent damage.
The woman's partner immediately asked the bar owner to take out the wine bottle that had just been used and handed it to the police who arrived at the scene. Staff from the local health bureau also came to the bar to check on it.
According to reports, the owner of the bar is a 54-year-old Chinese woman. She admitted her mistake to investigators. She had filled the dishwasher detergent with an empty wine bottle, but she didn't remove the original label from the bottle and ended up pouring the detergent into the customer's glass.

At present, the bar has been seized by the police. The bar owner is facing a lawsuit for negligence causing serious harm to a guest.
