From a good point of view, the review of mathematics for the high school entrance examination

author:Teacher Ou is not Teacher Qu

The districts have ended one after another, and some districts have already issued scores, and the districts that have taken the last few genius exams are estimated to have scores after the May Day holiday.

Last night, I sorted out the existing information, and roughly came up with a conversion between Tianhe District and Zengcheng District and the high school entrance examination, and sent it to the backup number.

Let's go straight to the conclusion first.

Tianhe Yimo +15~25 points is roughly equal to the score of the high school entrance examination.

Zengcheng Yimo +5~15 points are roughly equal to the results of the high school entrance examination.

Among them, the lower the grade, the greater the bonus range can be, and the better the student's state, the greater the bonus range can be.

Back to the main topic of this article, I will use a model paper as an example to talk about the next review of mathematics.

First of all, it is important to reiterate a few points:

  • The difficulty of the Guangzhou Mathematics High School Entrance Examination has been very stable over the years, as stable as the old dog's. That is, the basic questions are very basic, and the finale questions are more difficult in most cases (but they are easier than many areas).
  • On the one hand, it is extremely difficult to get 110+ in mathematics, and there were only 817 people in the city last year, accounting for about 0.7%. On the other hand, a score of 90 or above in mathematics is a requirement for students who aim for exemplary high school, and 100+ is a requirement for students who aim for the first gradient line.

I have analyzed this data below, and parents who have not read it recommend taking a look at it first.

Based on the above judgment, it should be a more reasonable strategy to try to get closer to 90+ and 100+, and try your best but not force the finale.

To do this, the most important thing is to do the basic questions perfectly, and then get as many mid-range questions as possible, plus the first of the two finale questions, which is worth about 80 points in total. Questions 9, 10, 15, 16, and 23 are medium-level, with 22 points and the remaining 18 points going to the finale.

Is this Yuexiu District paper difficult? I think it is difficult, at least it is far more difficult than the high school entrance examination. The specific performance is that there are some pitfalls and relatively rare test methods in the basic questions, the medium questions are difficult and demanding, and the finale questions are much more difficult than the mid-term exams in recent years.

Here's an example.

Question 4, test scientific notation, simple test point, but here is a small pit, after the unit conversion, the decimal point is moved by one place, careless or not solid enough students may step on the pit.

Question 8, test statistics, simple test points. However, instead of simply calculating or finding the median mode, etc., the problem is a rare way to let the number of students who judge the "number of extracurricular readings" as 2 and 3 not know, but only need to know that the sum is 5 (35-9-7-9-3-2=5), then the median and mode are not affected.

Students who only have a simple mechanical memory of this knowledge point may be stunned for a while when they see this question.

The above are examples of two basic questions. For students, when you are revising, you should make sure that all the basic questions are solved perfectly, and perfect means getting all the marks. In each past question paper, the lost marks of the basic questions must be thoroughly investigated to understand the answers and principles, think about the reasons for their mistakes, and ensure that they do not make mistakes again next time they encounter similar questions.

There are students and parents, and teachers want to ask for some methods and shortcuts, hoping to improve math scores quickly. My answer is that there are no shortcuts, one step at a time, do a good job of each paper, and then summarize and learn lessons.

Next is the mid-range questions, for most people, a paper is difficult, and I think the main manifestation is the high difficulty of the mid-range questions.

The biggest difference between the mid-range questions and the basic questions is that the latter test point is relatively single and shallow, while the latter is diverse and in-depth.

For example, question 10 tests the comprehension of quadratic function images, which is typically in-depth. It is not enough to solve the problem by relying on the "influence of parameter symbols on the function image" learned in the textbook, it requires students to first be able to determine the axis of symmetry with the "properties of the axis of symmetry", and then try to draw a diagram with a pen, simplify the formula containing three parameters at the same time, etc.

Of course, this is a multiple-choice question, judging from the options, as long as the first three conclusions are determined, the relatively more complex (4) conclusion can be ignored, which is the category of question-making skills.

Like 23 questions, as the last big question before the finale, it is definitely not easy to say, and it is not particularly difficult to say that it is difficult, which plays a role in connecting the previous and the next.

Questions like this one are typical of the diversity of test centers. It examines many properties related to the angle of the triangle (vertical bisector), the complementary diagonal complementarity of the quadrilateral inside the circle and the equal circumferential angle of the same arc, and the use of similar triangles, isosceles right triangles, and so on.

Each of the links may be understood by the students when they are taken out separately, but if they are connected in a question, it is likely that they will not remember that this question is originally to be done with this knowledge.

In fact, whether many students' final math scores are satisfactory does not depend on the finale questions, but whether the 23 questions can be the best, and the students whose level is in the range of 90~105 may wish to do more 23 questions in different papers.

As for the finale, let's not talk about it, it's normal to be difficult, and it's not normal if it's not difficult. When you can solve the basic questions perfectly (get 80 points), try to do a good job in the mid-range questions, and do your best in the finale questions, the score will not be bad.

Again, the math middle school exam is not difficult, but there is no shortcut to math improvement.

There are so many past papers from all districts and schools this year and previous years, do them one by one, summarize them, and avoid repeating mistakes, and you will naturally get better and better in the process.
