In order to commemorate the 105th anniversary of the "May Fourth" Movement and accelerate the growth of young people in learning and exchanges, on the morning of April 30, the Youth League Working Committee of Tongdao Street Street organized the youth league members of the street to go to the red education base of the former residence of Wulanfu to carry out the theme group day activity of "bravely shouldering the mission of youth and inheriting the May Fourth fire", to commemorate the great achievements of the great man, and then take the red journey, so as to further guide the youth of the league members to continue to strengthen their ideals and beliefs and stimulate their enthusiasm for struggle.
Ulanfu's former residence is located in Tabusai Village, Tumut Zuoqi, Hohhot City, where Comrade Ulanfu was born, worked and fought; he devoted his life to the revolutionary cause and liberation of the Chinese people, and was a time-tested communist fighter and outstanding proletarian revolutionary. Under the guidance of the commentator, the youth members visited the cultural relics, photos and documents displayed in the former residence of Ulanfu, and learned about the glorious deeds of Comrade Ulanfu who did not forget his original intention and worked hard in his life.
In order to enrich the spiritual and cultural life of the youth members and build a youth exchange platform, the "Show Youth Style" fun sports meeting was continued after the visit, and the competition kicked off with bursts of cheers and shouts. In the "Ugly Duckling Race", everyone brainstormed and completed three rounds of the race with various skills and speeds; in the "Stool Grabbing" competition, everyone concentrated and agile; and "The Lost Banana" reflected everyone's full cooperation and tacit understanding, and the games were carried out enthusiastically in everyone's laughter.
Through this activity, it not only tempers the minds of young people, exercises their bodies, and carries forward the excellent qualities of their revolutionary ancestors, but also enhances the unity and cooperation among young people. In the future, the neighborhood youth league working committee will continue to work hard to carry out more special activities that are beneficial to the physical and mental development of youth league members.
