China Guardian's 2024 Jewelry Spring Auction is about to kick off. More than 130 pieces of jewels will be unveiled in Shanghai from April 27 to 29.
There are clear advantages to choosing brands and antique jewelry at auction houses. First of all, as a secondary market, collectors can find brand works with much lower prices than first-tier stores, and some can even reach 1-3% off the primary market, which has obvious price advantages. Secondly, there will be some models that are no longer produced by the brand and are difficult to see on the market, highlighting the advantages of its scarcity. Thirdly, the auction house will do professional checks on the quality and endorse the clear circulation channels of the collection.

In the wake of the naturalism that flourished in Europe in the past, jewellers are keen to incorporate floral-inspired designs into captivating and vivid designs to create dazzling "En Tremblant" jewelry. The ingenious spring construction allows the jewelry to shake lightly and flexibly when worn. On the night of the aristocratic ball, when the flowers are worn on the body, they seem to rejuvenate and sway with their steps. Accompanied by the faint candlelight, the diamonds shimmer in the night, reflecting the dance steps.

Legend has it that Christmas roses are associated with the birth of Jesus and symbolize new life and hope. The elegant flowers bloom in the bitter cold of Christmas, bringing a warm touch of color to the winter days, hence the name "Christmas Rose". In the 1970s, Van Cleef & Arpels created the Rose de Noël collection of jewels to celebrate their bloom in the cold of winter, bringing happiness and joy to people.
Precious materials have been carefully selected, with turquoise in a pure lake blue hue and white mother-of-pearl in an enchanting iridescent. The petals are cut from curved gemstones, and the layers are interwoven to reproduce the beauty of winter flowers. The petals have small chamfered corners at the ends to mimic the flower's natural formation splitting. The stamens are set with brilliant round diamonds, with slender golden filaments extending below to reveal their gorgeous brilliance.
