On the morning of April 28, the University of the Greater Bay Area (in preparation) successfully held the opening ceremony of the Songshan Lake Campus and the exchange meeting on the progress of preparation. Academician Tian Gang, the person in charge of the preparation of the school, Zheng Guohong, deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Dongguan Municipal People's Congress, Li Xiaoming, the head of teaching of the school, Dai Changliang, the head of administration, and the relevant functional departments of the municipal party committee and the municipal government, as well as the relevant responsible comrades of more than 20 units in the park and town where the school is located, and more than 100 people including the deans of the colleges, department heads and faculty representatives of the school participated. In accordance with the established plan and the requirements of the Ministry of Education, with the support of the Dongguan Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, the school will continue to consolidate the conditions for running the school, promote the preparatory work for running the school, and firmly believe that the blueprint of the school will be more wonderful than the plan.
Li Xiaoming, the head of teaching, introduced the scientific research progress and talent training strategy of the universities in the Greater Bay Area in detail to the participants. Based on this, he deeply analyzed the talent training strategy of the University in the Greater Bay Area from the aspects of understanding of the times, understanding of the mission of the university, vision and goals, difficulties and challenges, policies and strategies, measures and actions, supervision and evaluation.
Zheng Guohong, deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Dongguan Municipal People's Congress, congratulated the school on its official entry into the teaching area of Songshan Lake Campus in his speech and expressed his heartfelt thanks to the preparatory team.
