In order to effectively prevent the occurrence of student drowning accidents, improve students' self-defense and self-rescue ability, and ensure the safety of students' lives, recently, Chongyang Primary School in Qihe Town, Taoyuan County, organized a series of safety education activities related to "drowning prevention" for teachers and students in the school.
During the event, Principal Huang Guiping delivered a speech under the national flag, emphasizing to students that drowning prevention should be achieved on the way to and from school and during holidays. The student representatives issued an initiative to "cherish life, stay away from drowning injuries". Immediately, all the students took a collective oath under the leadership of the captain, and jointly promised not to go to dangerous waters to play privately, pay attention to wading safety, and cherish life.
In the class meeting, the class teacher helps students keep in mind the knowledge of drowning prevention through videos and pictures, conducts drowning prevention discussions, encourages students to actively express their knowledge and views on summer drowning prevention, and always reminds students to stay away from unsafe waters to ensure the safety of students.
The person in charge of drowning prevention in each class issues safety reminders to parents through WeChat, telephone, home visits and other forms, improves parents' safety awareness, promotes home-school joint defense, and works together to build a strong line of defense for student safety, and do a good job in student drowning prevention and safety work.
