Highlights of the 2024 Global Best Universities for Digital Education Rankings
The United States continues to maintain its leading position in the global competition in the field of digital education in higher education.
Specifically, a total of 56 universities in the United States are among the top 200 in the world, of which 4 top universities are ranked in the top 10 in the world, and the number of American universities in the top 30 has reached 9, which undoubtedly demonstrates the strong strength and profound heritage of the United States in the field of digital education.
It is followed by the United Kingdom, which also excels in digital education. With 19 UK universities in the Global Top 200, three of which are in the top 10 and six in the top 30, the UK is a testament to the UK's excellence in developing digital talent.
It is worth mentioning that India, as an important contributor to the IT industry, also occupies an important position in the global digital education rankings. A total of 18 Indian universities are ranked in the top 200 globally, seven of which are ranked in the top 100 in the world, and five of these seven universities are regional branches of the Indian Institute of Technology, reflecting India's remarkable achievements in digital education in higher education.
In addition, there are a number of other countries that have also shown great strength in the field of digital education. For example, 14 universities in Canada, 13 in France, 12 in Australia, and 11 in Germany are in the top 200 rankings.

2024 Global Best University Ranking Methodology for Digital Education
Emerging has taken an innovative approach to compiling the rankings, combining professional votes with background data from digital industry executives to paint a holistic picture of digital science education today, and to identify universities and programs around the world that excel in digital education.
Specifically, the ranking is based on an extensive survey conducted in February 2024 and in-depth data analysis. The survey brought together the wisdom of 3,697 professionals from 12 countries and regions, including 1,187 IT industry managers, 1,392 start-up founders and executives, and 1,118 digital industry practitioners. Through their participation, a total of 190,432 questionnaires were collected, covering more than 300 universities around the world.
In addition, Emerging conducted an in-depth study of the resumes and educational backgrounds of 150,000 digital professionals from nearly 70 industries and more than 100 digital positions around the world. They surveyed the universities from which these professionals graduated and the degrees they earned, and calculated the frequency of each university and each major to assess and compare the strength and influence of different universities in the field of digital education.
