On April 19, the Language and Writing Committee of the Evenki Autonomous Banner, the Women's Federation of the Evenki Autonomous Banner, the Ethnic Affairs Committee of the Evenki Autonomous Banner, and the Education Bureau of the Evenki Autonomous Banner jointly held the Pomegranate Flower Happy to the Party and Parent-Child Reading and Growing - The 2024 "Reading for the Future" Parent-child Recitation Competition of the Evenki Autonomous Banner. 10 groups of families from kindergartens across the flag participated in the competition.
At the scene of the competition, the children's crisp children's voices and the parents' calm tones were intertwined, some of them were passionate, some were gentle and lyrical, and they sang the praises of the great motherland together, and the strong patriotic feelings deeply infected every audience present. The judges listened carefully to the recitation of each group of families and scored them, and after fierce competition, they awarded 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes, and 5 excellence awards.
The Evenki Autonomous Banner Law Society also donated 40 law books worth nearly 1,000 yuan to the Xincheng Community Women and Children's Home.
General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out that "reading can keep people's thoughts alive, let people be inspired by wisdom, and let people nourish the spirit of Haoran." The competition aims to guide preschool children to develop good reading habits, enhance parent-child emotional exchanges, create a good family reading atmosphere, and strengthen children's patriotic education, promote the spirit of patriotism, and cultivate patriotic feelings for the party.
