On May 1, 2008, Hangzhou's public bicycle, that is, the little red car, was launched by the West Lake, with 61 service points and 2,800 bicycles, which opened the boom of cycling in Hangzhou.

Today (May 1st), Little Red Car celebrated its 16th birthday. Many of the young people who rode the little red cars back then have become parents. The children who used to ride in the parent-child little red car are now in their prime.
