On the occasion of the upcoming Reading Day, on April 24, the community of the West Locomotive Depot mobilized residents in the jurisdiction to carry out the "World Book Day" parent-child reading activity to promote traditional Chinese culture, stimulate residents' enthusiasm for reading, and create a strong bookish atmosphere.
During the activity, the children and their parents sat together, read and discuss carefully, and felt the joy of reading in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. After the reading, the children were eager to try to be sharers and shared their reading experiences. Parents who participated in the competition said that they would have more time to read, share and grow with their children in the future.
This activity stimulated everyone's enthusiasm for reading, spread the concept and method of parent-child reading, guided parents to pay attention to parent-child reading, improved reading guidance ability, helped children develop reading habits from an early age, cultivated family reading fashion, and cultivated a good family style. In the next step, the West Locomotive Depot community will further innovate the form of reading, enrich the content of reading, and attract more residents to approach reading and fall in love with reading.
