Urban roads are connected to "people's livelihood" and "development" at one end, and spacious and clean roads are the "happiness road" of citizens' lives and the "booster" of urban development. In order to improve the road capacity and create a safe, convenient and comfortable travel environment for the surrounding communities and schools, the Second Engineering Company of Shandong Datong Construction Group Co., Ltd. began the construction of COFCO Dayue City Municipal Road in November 2022.
The project is located in the southeast of Wangsheren, north of Gongye North Road, south of Kaiyuan Middle Road, east of Longjihe East Road, and west of Fengxiao Road, including 4 roads with a total length of about 1.9km. Construction projects include road works, traffic works, drainage works, pipeline integrated works, lighting works and greening works.
In the face of the double pressure of the delivery of housing in the surrounding communities and the delivery of supporting schools, Datong builders scientifically planned, reasonably co-ordinated, and promoted the construction of the project with high standards and strict requirements. Under the premise of ensuring safety and quality, the construction period was reversed, the construction progress was accelerated, and a total of about 45,728 square meters of asphalt pavement were paved, more than 7,000 meters of rainwater and sewage, gas, tap water, electricity and other pipelines were laid, and 140 new inspection wells were built.
The construction project of the municipal road (phase I) around the COFCO Joy City project has been fully put into use, which has further promoted the microcirculation of road traffic in the area, created a safe and convenient traffic environment for the surrounding residents, and turned the former "annoying road" into a "safe road". In the next step, Datong Construction Group will continue to focus on people's livelihood and provide the general public with a smooth road, smooth water, bright lights, green grass travel environment and more high-quality and efficient municipal services.
