According to the Municipal Urban Management Law Enforcement Bureau, the Wenhua Road overpass was built in 1986 and is located at the node and is a 4-layer interchange; The Pearl River Bridge was completed in 1987 and is connected by the upper span railway. After nearly 40 years of operation, the concrete of the hollow slab girder and cap beam of the bridge has been corroded and damaged, and the exposed ribs have been corroded, resulting in the weakening of the cross-section and the decline of the bearing capacity of the bridge.
In order to ensure the safety of the bridge operation and improve the durability of the structure, the cover beam, main beam and bridge deck of the third ramp of the Wenhua Road overpass were demolished and reconstructed, and the damaged concrete of 36 pier columns was repaired; Two damaged hollow slabs of the Pearl River Bridge were replaced, six pier pillars were repaired with broken concrete, and the cambered crash walls were dismantled and rebuilt.
In order to minimize the impact of traffic, the Municipal Urban Management Law Enforcement Bureau organized the participating units to conduct in-depth research on the construction of the road occupation and construction plan.

Considering the traffic pressure, the cultural road overpass adopts a batch construction method, with 2 ramps in each phase of construction, and the daily construction occupies 2 lanes on the first floor, and the construction of the Pearl River Bridge only occupies 1 lane on the bridge.

The replacement of the 4 ramp beams of the Wenhua Road overpass adopts the steel plate girder assembly construction technology, and the beam body is made in the factory in advance in sections, and the construction site is directly assembled and welded, which can greatly shorten the construction period. At the same time, organize the construction unit to scientifically formulate the construction plan, increase the investment of construction forces, and work cross-work with multiple teams, and strive to complete and withdraw as soon as possible.
The third is strict and civilized construction. Reasonably arrange the construction process, add noise and dust prevention equipment, and make every effort to reduce the impact of noise and dust on people's lives.
