At present, the solid-state batteries that have been put on the car in China are semi-solid-state batteries in the strict sense, such as the Zhiji L6 that was just launched at the beginning of this month, and the "solid-state battery" is from Qingtao New Energy, a Tsinghua entrepreneurial project, which still contains more than 5% liquid electrolyte.

GAC's all-solid-state battery goes a step further by removing the liquid electrolyte, although it will not be installed until 2026.

The energy density is over 400Wh/kg, which is more than 50% higher than the industry's leading liquid lithium-ion battery, and the vehicle mileage can exceed 1000km after getting on the car.

According to GAC, the battery has been tested under extreme conditions such as acupuncture, cutting, -78°C dry ice environment and 90°C hot water immersion, and the performance has remained stable.
