At the 2024 Beijing Auto Show, Mercedes-Benz officially announced that its 2024 Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV was launched, and the new car offers three configurations to choose from, with an official guide price range of 486,000 yuan to 630,600 yuan, which is consistent with the old model.
As a facelifted model, the new car has not changed in terms of appearance, the front face adopts a closed grille design, and the interior is decorated with a dot matrix structure, which has a strong visual impact;
The lower bracket adopts a three-section design, the size of the deflector grooves on both sides is relatively large, and the interior creates a wind blade shape, bringing a more ferocious visual effect, and the bottom is equipped with flat air intakes, and the front lip part is also decorated with chrome strips, highlighting the sense of class.
In terms of side styling, the roofline is more rounded, with a little slip-back shape, which will be more friendly to wind resistance, but there is less sense of power; the rounded waistline adopts a segmented design, which embellishes the layering of the side of the body; the door handle adopts a pop-up design, which can play a role in reducing wind resistance; the wheel arches and side skirts are designed with raised black trim plates, which brings a certain sense of power; the wheels adopt a five-spoke low wind resistance shape, and the style is relatively simple.
At the rear, the roof is equipped with a small spoiler and high-mounted brake lights, the blacked-out tail light cluster adopts a through-line design that effectively stretches the horizontal visual width of the rear end, and the lower bracket is equipped with a recessed license plate frame to create a diffuser shape that brings a certain sporty atmosphere.
In terms of dimensions, the length, width and height of the new car are 4880/2032/1679mm, and the wheelbase is 3030mm, positioning it as a medium and large SUV.
Inside, the new car offers a three-spoke multi-function steering wheel, a full LCD instrument cluster, an embedded center control screen, a co-pilot entertainment screen, and an electronic pocket gearbox.
In terms of configuration, the new car is equipped with tire pressure display, automatic parking, hill assist, steep hill descent, front and rear parking radar, panoramic image, adaptive cruise, AR real-world navigation, electric induction tailgate, keyless entry, one-button start, automatic LED headlights, panoramic sunroof, automatic wipers, wireless charging of mobile phones in the front, electric adjustment of the front seats, proportional reclining of the rear seats, heat pump air conditioning and rear exhaust air vents.
In terms of power, the new car is no longer available in the EQE 350 version, all models are EQE 500 version, equipped with a four-wheel drive system composed of front and rear dual motors, with a combined maximum power of 300kW, a peak torque of 858Nm, and a 0-100 acceleration time of 5.1 seconds, a battery pack with a capacity of 96.1kWh, and a range of 609km in CLTC mode.
