Galaxy Macau's Cherry Blossom Festival is about to take off

The main venue of the Galaxy Macau Cherry Blossom Festival is located in the East Plaza of Galaxy Macau, with a pink cherry blossom-themed setting and ambience that allows guests to experience the strong atmosphere of Toying culture as soon as they step into the venue. The event will bring together dozens of exhibitors from Tokyo, Osaka, Aomori, Tokushima, Kagawa and Macau, as well as local Macau, to bring guests a rich and diverse Japanese experience - a dazzling array of cherry blossom-themed snacks and a variety of traditional Japanese-style food and wines will be lined up one by one, especially the sake vending machine, which will offer more than 50 kinds of Japanese sake from different origins and flavors, combining the two unique Japanese cultures of sake and vending machines.

Hotel Okura Macau will also set up a pop-up store at the festival to showcase a variety of Japanese specialties such as Nawami Nagasaki cake, Kyoto craft beer, and special sake. If you purchase any two items from the pop-up store, you can also add MOP1 to redeem a cup of charcoal-grilled coffee. In addition, the festival will feature a variety of games, as well as a variety of cultural performances by specially invited performance groups from Japan at the East Wing Plaza and the restaurant "Harmony Min", as well as cute mascots dressed in Japanese costumes and photos taken by guests.

On weekends during the festival and on Labor Day on May 1, guests can also participate in a variety of Japanese cultural workshops, where they can make Toei handicrafts such as sweets, kites, omamori, etc., or try on yukata, a traditional Japanese costume. At the same time, Galaxy Macau will also join hands with the Consulate General of Japan in Hong Kong to present a traditional Japanese flower arrangement experience at Hotel Okura Macau, allowing guests to experience the Japanese dance in full swing.

Another highlight of the Galaxy Macau Cherry Blossom Festival will be the Okura Celebrity Chef Four Hands Banquet at Yamazato on the evening of April 25 – Okura Hotel Group Global Chief Chef Koshi Sawau, who is in charge of the Group's 11 Japanese restaurants, will visit Galaxy Macau and join hands with Yamazato Executive Chef Takeda Morihiro to present guests a rare Japanese feast inspired by the splendor of spring and the blossoming cherry blossoms of Japan. Two experienced and skilled Japanese chefs will showcase their skills to create a Japanese feast based on traditional Japanese dishes such as sashimi, steamed food, sukiyaki and sushi. Booking and spending with ICBC Galaxy Macau Credit Card can enjoy instant discounts, seats are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
