The student representatives opened the large-scale live performance of "Xiongguan Fu" in the sound of worshipping heaven and earth.
On the morning of May 1, in front of the Bell and Drum Tower in the center of the ancient city of Shanhaiguan, a large-scale poetry recitation activity was organized by Shanhaiguan District, aiming to promote the excellent traditional Chinese culture, spread the historical and cultural voice of Shanhaiguan, and organically integrate the "Guan culture" and "Chinese traditional culture".
In the Yingxu Gate, Tonghai Gate, and Chaojing Gate of the Bell and Drum Tower, Xu Da, Qi Jiguang, and ancient soldiers and civilians played by the reciters performed the first famous poems such as "Ai Lian Said", "Watching the Sea", "Born in Sorrow, Died in Peace", etc., with a magnificent performance. Finally, at Guanluanmen, a modern group of poems "Reading the Great Wall" pushed the whole performance to a climax.
This activity is also an important part of Shanhaiguan to integrate "integrity education" into it in combination with its own history, promote traditional culture, and understand the spirit of the Great Wall. It is hoped that through this event, a new upsurge of "remembering the spirit of honesty and dedication of the ancient sages of Shanhaiguan, carrying forward the excellent traditional Chinese culture, and singing the praises of harmony and prosperity" will be set off.
