In order to further purify the cultural market environment, standardize the order of cultural market operations, and consolidate the ideological and propaganda ideological positions. On April 9, the Comprehensive Law Enforcement Brigade of the Binzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, together with the library staff, through on-site inspections, inquiries and conversations, etc., investigated and rectified illegal publications, obscene and pornographic publications and harmful information, and strengthened special inspections of books, periodicals, printed materials and other centralized sales places.
The inspection team inspected whether the sources and purchase channels of the books of Xinhua Bookstore and Bodi Bookstore were regular and legal, and whether the books contained such contents as endangering national security awareness, cult superstition, bloody violence, obscenity, and pornography, and strictly checked whether there were illegal publications such as piracy and infringement, so as to ensure that readers could enjoy healthy and beneficial reading resources. Law enforcement officials require business operators to firmly establish the business philosophy of law, purchase goods from regular channels, and resolutely resist the sale of pirated books. At the same time, to publicize the relevant laws and regulations to the merchants and emphasize business safety, the two bookstores that were inspected in this special inspection did not have the circulation of prohibited publications and other illegal publications.
In the future, the library will continue to cooperate with the comprehensive law enforcement brigade of the cultural market to strengthen the supervision of illegal publications, firmly guard the political, ideological and cultural security defense line, ensure the cultural security of the book market, and jointly create a stable, orderly, harmonious and healthy cultural market environment.
