Weng'an County was selected into the list of "Key Tea-producing Counties in 2023" by the China Tea Circulation Association, creating a Guangdong-Guizhou Cooperative Modern Agricultural Industrial Park with tea as the leading industry, and Jianzhong Town, the main tea-producing area, was recognized as a "National Agricultural Industry Strong Town" and a national "One Village, One Product" demonstration town, with a tea output of 15,600 tons and an output value of 2.21 billion yuan in 2023. The total output value of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery was 6.563 billion yuan, with a growth rate of 4.1 percent, and the per capita disposable income of rural permanent residents was 17,057 yuan, an increase of 8.3 percent.
