In January 2024, the Ministry of Education issued the "Notice on the List of Typical Experiences of the National Primary and Secondary School Class Teachers' Basic Skills and Ideological and Political Teachers' Teaching Basic Skills Exhibition and Exchange Activities in 2023", and Chongqing recommended a total of 10 ideological and political teachers to participate in the election, among which Li Xinru, a teacher from Forest Primary School in Jiulongpo District, was successfully selected. The content of the basic teaching skills of teachers in this ideological and political course is composed of the overall design of the unit "Diverse Civilizations and Colorful Life", the classroom record "Colorful World Culture" and the current political commentary "Building a Community with a Shared Future for Mankind and Building a Road to Peaceful Development". The whole exhibition content aims to cultivate students' core literacy, combined with the actual learning situation, through the creation of scenarios, the development of theme activities, etc., to stimulate students' ideological resonance, cultivate the feelings of family and country, and broaden international vision.
In recent years, Jiulongpo District has adhered to the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, implemented the fundamental task of establishing morality and cultivating people, and attached great importance to the construction of ideological and political courses.
The first is to take the practical teaching base as the drive. Establish 24 district-level "big ideological and political courses" practical teaching bases, such as Yucai Middle School, covering more than 10 categories such as red culture and scientific spirit, to achieve full coverage of primary and secondary schools and vocational education.
The second is to take the integrated community as the guide. The Jiulongpo District Education Committee and Sichuan University of Foreign Chinese took the lead in establishing a key construction community for the integration of ideological and political courses in primary and secondary schools in Chongqing, realizing the effective connection, overall linkage and scientific promotion of ideological and political courses in various school stages, and actively building a "concentric circle project" of ideological and political courses in primary and secondary schools.
The third is to take the integration of research and training as the starting point. The teaching and research group of the Great Ideological and Political Center and the Famous Teacher's Studio were established to improve the overall quality of ideological and political teachers through project guidance, integration of research and training, and project promotion, and effectively promoted the construction of ideological and political teachers.
In the future, Jiulongpo District will further actively explore the effective path of the construction of "big ideological and political courses", realize the education of all employees, the whole process and the all-round way, so that all kinds of courses and ideological and political courses go in the same direction, form a synergistic effect, continuously improve the effectiveness of ideological and political education, and cultivate socialist builders and successors with all-round development of morality, intelligence, physical fitness, aesthetics and labor.
