It is understood that in accordance with the domestic refined oil price adjustment mechanism, domestic oil prices will start a new round of adjustment at 24 o'clock on January 31. As of January 26, the rate of change of domestic crude oil was 3.06% in the seventh working day, and it is expected that gasoline and diesel will be raised by 130 yuan per ton, which has exceeded the limit of 50 yuan per ton. Based on the current increase, domestic oil prices will rise by about 0.1 yuan per liter, which will mean an extra cost of about 5 yuan according to the 50-liter fuel tank capacity of an ordinary private car.
A review of the oil price adjustment in January this year
Before the review, at 24 o'clock on January 17, domestic refined oil prices ushered in the second adjustment in 2024. After this round of adjustment, the price of domestic gasoline and diesel fell by 50 yuan per ton. Based on the price increase, the prices of No. 92 gasoline, No. 95 gasoline and No. 0 diesel were reduced by 0.04 yuan per liter each.
Judging from the trend of the international crude oil market, international oil prices have been rising continuously since the beginning of 2024. As of January 27, the main Brent crude oil contract 2403 was at $83.69 / barrel, up 1.53% on the day and up 8.63% this month, while the main WTI crude oil contract 2403 was last quoted at $78.23 / barrel, an increase of 8.89% this year. In addition, the share prices of domestic oil companies have continued to rise sharply recently, driven by the positive impact of rising oil prices.
