Just now China North Industries Group Qingqi Motorcycle under the Xiaosheng brand has brought a retro style 150 cc flat scooter, the car is officially named Aurora, the listing is the urban version of this series, the current official guide price is 11980 yuan, its price is significantly lower than the other three versions.
In the early days, the Xiaosheng brand was mainly based on straddle riding princely motorcycles, among which the well-known is the GV300s series and the GV650 after complete localization. So in a sense, the brand is a pure newcomer in the scooter segment.
The Aurora 150 is a model created by the Xiaosheng brand last year, and it was officially launched on September 12, 2023, when there were three versions, namely the Youth Edition, the Smart Edition and the Premium Edition. The price is 13980~14880 yuan.
The Aurora 150 Urban Edition, which was launched yesterday, belongs to the low-profile version of this car series, so it will be significantly different from other versions in the configuration section, let's take a brief look.
In terms of appearance, I have already had "face blindness" in the face of retro scooters, because they look too similar, and the overall silhouette is similar to the retro style, but the details are slightly different.
The Aurora 150 Urban Edition is no exception, and its more attractive feature is the styling of the previous version, which no longer follows the grille that is customary to this type of model, but adopts a more layered cover design, which is divided left and right.
In terms of power, the series is powered by a 150 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, four-valve EFI engine with pulse ignition, although the Cosmopolitan version does not have an idle start-stop function, while the other variants do.
The engine has an actual displacement of 149.3 cc, a maximum power of 10.5 kW, and a maximum torque of 13.5 Nm.
In terms of body, the car adopts a double-inclined tube structure frame welded by a fully automatic robot, which can effectively reduce the vibration of the whole vehicle and make riding more comfortable. At the same time, it is equipped with 12-inch alloy wheels at the front and rear and a 150 retro scooter standard structure.
The car has a low seat height of 756mm and an optimized riding triangle, which, combined with a wide split retro seat design, will make the sitting position more stretched.
