In 1991, Tai Lihua was about to enter high school, but there was no deaf and dumb high school in Yichang, so she had to go to Wuhan alone, and she also had a bigger stage to show her dance.
Every time she performs at school, she actively signs up for dance performances, and although she does not have the guidance of professional teachers, she can always bring wonderful performances to her classmates with her own interpretations, which also makes her fame gradually grow.
In the same year, she represented the school in the Wuhan Dance Competition, and won the prize and also got the opportunity to enter the China Disabled Persons Art Troupe. At this time, she could give up and return to Wuhan University for the Deaf and Dumb to continue her studies. But she refused to admit defeat, but she chose to practice hard to meet the requirements of the teachers, although her knees were bruised in many places because of the practice of dancing, and her body was covered with large and small scars.
However, she chose to grit her teeth and persevere, and successfully impressed the teachers in the second performance, and since then she has received professional dance training. In just one year, she became the lead dancer of the troupe and appeared at the Teatro alla Scala in Italy.
In this dancer's dream hall, her performance of the "Dunhuang Colored Sculptures" amazed the Quartet, and the audience resounded with long-lasting applause after the dance.
But she did not stop improving, but continued to hone her skills. In 2000, she performed "Spirit of the Sparrow" at Carnegie Hall in New York to a crowd of United Nations officials and artists, once again shocking everyone in the audience.
And her masterpiece is "Thousand Hands Guanyin" with teacher Zhang Jigang. At that time, although she had already shined in front of the world, many ordinary people had never seen her performance, and "Guanyin with a Thousand Hands" made her a god in a war.
At that time, after director Zhang Jigang completed the choreography, he had been lacking a lead dancer who satisfied him. Until a friend recommended Tai Lihua to him, after watching her performance, Zhang Jigang immediately decided that his target was her.
At the closing ceremony of the 2004 Athens Paralympic Games, the team of "Guanyin with a Thousand Hands" was also invited by the Chinese delegation to participate in the closing ceremony, and they shocked the world with their superb performances. Even the director of the CCTV Spring Festival Gala was shocked by the beauty they conveyed and sent them an invitation.

Since 2005, Tai Lihua has served as the head of the China Disabled Persons Art Troupe, helping and taking care of the growth of each member of the art troupe. Under her strict requirements, every actor must work 100% hard when performing and training.
When she leads the China Disabled Persons Art Troupe to perform, she always pays attention to the growth of local disabled children. She used her own practical experience to encourage children with disabilities to work hard, and later she also set up a special "My Dream" Harmony Fund.
