Tai Lihua was born in 1976 in a quiet town in Yichang, Hubei Province. Since she was a child, she has been a well-behaved girl in the eyes of the whole family, with a lively and cheerful personality and a smile as warm as a flower.

In order to allow their daughter to continue her studies, Tai Lihua's parents decided to send her to a special primary school for the deaf and mute. There, Tai Lihua found her life's passion - dance.
