"Embarking on the road of sports has sharpened my will and strengthened my confidence. Ding Erwei told reporters that it is precisely because he deeply understands the difficulties of the disabled, so he joined the disabled art troupe after retiring from the army to organize and plan a public welfare love party, "Running errands for the disabled brothers, I feel particularly fulfilled every day, and every time a party is successfully held, I am very happy and have a special sense of achievement." Although Ding Erwei lost both arms, he won the World Para Championships with a disability, and after retiring, he practiced calligraphy again, and won many awards at the World Para Championships and Paralympics. While preparing for performances in various places, Ding Erwei also read a lot of books, participated in the planning and implementation of a series of cultural activities, and was invited to give a speech on the podium, using his own personal experience and touching stories around him to move and inspire others, so far he has held more than 100 inspirational speeches.
