International Online Report (Reporter Li Wanlu) 2024 is the 55th anniversary of the Bengali radio broadcast of China Central Radio and Television. On January 1, the Asian-African Center of China Central Television and Bangladesh Sunshine TV produced a special program in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, and held a New Year's concert of "Hello China". The Speaker of the National Assembly of Bangladesh, Chowdhury, sent a congratulatory letter. Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Yao Wen praised the New Year's Concert as a heart-warming event. Nearly 400 guests from all walks of life attended the concert, including Minister of State for Culture of Bangladesh Khalid and Chargé d'Affaires of the Chinese Embassy in Bangladesh Yan Hualong.

In his congratulatory letter, Speaker Chowdhury said that Bangladesh and China have carried out close cooperation in different fields, and the media cooperation is particularly remarkable. Over the past 55 years, Chinese media workers have made unremitting efforts to broadcast programs in Bengali, enhancing understanding and friendship between the two peoples.
