In order to better implement the inquiry and practice literacy in the core literacy of science in the new curriculum standard, cultivate students' independent exploration ability. On April 25th, Huangheqiao Primary School carried out a seminar on the teaching of scientific inquiry-based lessons in primary schools.
First of all, everyone observed the online fifth-grade experimental high-quality lesson "Day and Night Alternation" in the conference room, which led to the topic with the video of the day and night alternation phenomenon in life, so as to arouse the students' desire to explore why there is a day and night alternation phenomenon on the earth. Next, through the five links of students' bold conjecture, simulation experiment, group presentation, inductive conclusion, and questioning, students can initially understand the principle of the earth's rotation and revolution, and learn to analyze and explain the phenomenon of day and night. In the classroom exploration, the teacher organizes students to conduct a full simulation of time and space, the whole classroom has clear logic, rich content, compact rhythm, and attaches great importance to group cooperation and experimental normative guidance in students' independent exploration.
After the lecture, the teachers discussed the experimental exploration activities in this lesson, and they made it clear that the focus of inquiry teaching should be different for students at different stages, the science experiment in the lower grades is to let students experience the joy of experimentation and be willing to carry out experimental exploration activities, while the students in the upper grades should pay more attention to the exploration of experimental methods. Next, the teachers exchanged ideas on teaching methods and how to mobilize students' enthusiasm for learning in the classroom, and everyone shared valuable experiences with each other, which was full of harvest.
