Ren Ping, a native of Hangzhou, is from Rudong, Jiangsu. Ph.D., Hangzhou University, 1991. He is a member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, a director of the Zhejiang Calligraphy Association, and the vice chairman of the China Hard Pen Calligraphers Association. He has won the highest award in the first, second and third national pen calligraphy competitions. He also served as a judge for all subsequent competitions. Participated in the preparation and organization of the Chinese Hard Pen Calligraphers Association.
