According to the China Manned Space Engineering Office, at 21:35 last night (December 21), after about 7.5 hours of out-of-cabin activities, the Shenzhou-17 astronaut crew successfully completed the first out-of-cabin activity.

During the out-of-cabin activities, Shenzhou-17 astronauts Tang Hongbo, Tang Shengjie and Jiang Xinlin worked closely together, and with the cooperation and support of the space station's robotic arm and ground scientific researchers, they completed the established tasks such as the solar wing repair test of the Tianhe core module.

Tang Hongbo, the first astronaut in the mainland to return to the space station, walked in space again after two years; astronaut Tang Shengjie became the youngest astronaut in the mainland to carry out the mission so far; and during the mission, astronaut Jiang Xinlin carried out support work in the core module, mainly responsible for the control of the robotic arm.
