From September 12th to 13th, the assessment and acceptance team of the Ministry of Transport, headed by Sun Youcai, deputy director of the Hebei Provincial Highway Development Center, went to Changjiang to review and evaluate the work of Changjiang's "Four Good Rural Roads" National Demonstration County on the spot, and organized a rectification and review work report meeting.

At the meeting, the assessment and acceptance team watched the promotional video of the high-quality development and construction of Changjiang's "Four Good Rural Roads", listened to Changjiang's work on promoting the high-quality development of "Four Good Rural Roads", and the rectification report of Changjiang's "Four Good Rural Roads" national demonstration county, and inspected internal industry data.

The assessment and acceptance team affirmed the establishment and rectification work of Changjiang's "Four Good Rural Roads" National Demonstration County, pointing out that Changjiang attaches great importance to the construction of "Four Good Rural Roads" and the rectification and reform of existing problems, as well as the decision-making and deployment of the Party Central Committee and the State Council on the development of rural roads. Next, the acceptance team will strictly follow the work requirements, adhere to the principles of objectivity, impartiality and seeking truth from facts, conscientiously perform its responsibilities, and ensure that the rectification review and assessment work is carried out fairly, objectively and orderly.

Liang Ming said that Changjiang will take this review and evaluation as an opportunity to adhere to problem-oriented, goal-oriented and result-oriented, strive to promote the modernization of rural highway governance system and governance capacity, focus on continuing to optimize the construction of road network structure, increase the implementation of maintenance projects, deepen the reform of rural highway management and maintenance system, and accelerate the formulation and issuance of the "Bus Capacity Plan", etc., to provide a strong transportation guarantee for consolidating and expanding the achievements of transportation poverty alleviation, comprehensively promoting the implementation of rural revitalization strategy and accelerating agricultural and rural modernization.
Leaders of relevant counties in Changjiang and the main responsible persons of relevant functional departments and townships attended the report meeting.
After the debriefing meeting, the inspection team will conduct on-site review at each review point.
It is understood that in 2018, Changjiang won the national demonstration county of "Four Good Rural Roads", and in 2019, it was rated as a pilot unit for deepening the reform of rural highway management and maintenance and the road chief system. From 2014 to 2022, it has always ranked among the best in the management and maintenance and "four good rural roads" inspection and evaluation carried out in Hainan Province. By the end of 2022, the length of Changjiang rural roads was 1074.312 kilometers, and the hardened road rate of administrative villages and natural villages was 100%, the highway maintenance rate was 100%, the regular maintenance rate was 100%, and the administrative village bus rate was 100%.
