Wang Hongjun, who has loved calligraphy since childhood, has been studying and practicing diligently since he was a child, practicing calligraphy and painting at the same time. He is currently the secretary of the branch of the Weifang Bohai Calligraphy and Painting Institute of the Communist Party of China, and the vice chairman of the Weifang High-tech Zone Artists Association. His calligraphy and painting works have won many awards inside and outside the province, and in 1997, he participated in the National Mao Body Calligraphy Competition, and his calligraphy work "Spring Dawn" won the Excellence Award; in 2013, his creation list book work "Shou" won the third place in the Weifang Cultural System Calligraphy and Painting Competition; in 2016, weifang Municipal Archives donated and collected Chinese paintings "Nine Dragon Diagrams". In 2016, he was awarded the honorary title of 'Advanced Individual of Mass Cultural Life Organization' by the Propaganda Department of Weifang Municipal Party Committee.
Wang Hongjun mainly focuses on Xingkai, and in terms of painting, he is good at freehand paintings with carp and chicken as the carrier of expression, which can be described as "ink and ink magic drama, idle and interesting and elegant". Speaking of the experience of learning calligraphy when he was a child, Wang Hongjun said that because he lived with his parents in the compound of the Party School of the Weifang Municipal Party Committee since he was a child, he was influenced by the surrounding environment, he began to learn calligraphy from the age of 10, and when the children of the same age all went out to play together, he liked to pestering the teachers in the party school to teach him to write.
"At that time, I saw that the words written by Teacher Tan Wei were so beautiful, I hoped that I could do it." Wang Hongjun said that although writing may seem a bit boring for a small child, whenever he wants to give up practicing, he looks at excellent calligraphy and painting works and encourages himself to continue to persevere.
One minute on stage, ten years offstage. Wang Hongjun found himself in calligraphy and painting, "just like being a human being, with a peaceful mind." Wang Hongjun said that calligraphy and painting can cultivate people's pleasant emotions and open-mindedness. Every time I lift the paintbrush, I will concentrate on it, calm my luck, and send all my heart and energy to the pen in my hand, the depth of the pen when writing, and the ink color of the lines when painting, are the sustenance of the author's feelings. Wang Hongjun said that since he was a child, he has been in the Erwang, Xi Yan ti and other ancient inscriptions and books, and has never stopped practicing for 30 years, and also has his own unique calligraphy style. "The first practice is to copy, and when you have completely eaten the words, you will start to write yourself, pondering while writing, and gradually become your own words."
In addition to learning calligraphy, Wang Hongjun also painstakingly studied painting skills, and the large tank of fish in the studio was raised by Wang Hongjun for painting. "The most vivid thing about fish is the shape when they swim, if you just draw the static appearance of the fish, it is far from enough, you must paint the moment when they move." Wang Hongjun often stood next to the fish tank, observing the shape of the fish while drawing fish with a paintbrush, painting for several hours. After the painting is completed, I stand next to my painting, looking at the fish and looking at the painting, and at the very least, a painting has been completed, but it may take a long time to ponder it later.
Wang Hongjun's favorite words are "Shangshan Ruoshui" and "Houde Carrier", but these simple eight words contain the principle of handling things for people, so he named his study "ShanShui Zhai".
Wang Hongjun likes to give his words to his relatives and friends, and each word contains his sincere blessings. Wang Hongjun has also participated in countless donation activities, large and small, with his own works, donating to both out-of-school children and widows and the elderly.
