Wang Hongjun was born in 1964 in Anhui. He is a member of the Chinese Artists Association, a member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, and the fourteenth generation of the Guinness Book of World Records intangible cultural heritage "Plum Blossom Seal Characters". He has been invited by the Ministry of Culture to visit 26 countries including France, Germany, Russia and Japan, and is now the president of the China Plum Blossom Seal Character Art Center and the China Meizhong Library Research Institute. At present, the Suzhou embroidery version of "plum blossom seal character", the creation of "purple sand pot opening plum blossom fragrance" in Yixing, the Jingdezhen porcelain version, and Xinjiang Hetian yu have all been created into derivative works of "plum blossom seal character" culture. On January 31, 2016, "Plum Blossom Seal Characters" was protected by the China Copyright Protection Center.
The evolution and development of Cangjie characters to seals, li, kai, xing, grass and other fonts embodies the crystallization of the talents and wisdom of the ancient sages, and also engraves the imprint of historical and cultural progress. "Characters", under the re-creation of talents and talents and the talents and feelings of literati and rioters, have derived a beautiful art form - calligraphy. In the forest of art, a hundred flowers compete for beauty, and the "plum blossom seal character" is one of the strange flowers, which can be described as a living fossil in the ancient Chinese calligraphy world.
"Plum Blossom Seal Character" takes the seal body as the skeleton, using optics, distance, orientation, color, ink and other brushwork, the plum blossom inlaid characters, so that the two skillfully integrate into one, from a distance like the seal character flying, near it seems that plum blossoms bloom, to achieve the unique artistic effect of "looking at the flower from a distance, looking at the word closely, having a word in the flower, hiding a flower in the word, and blending the flowers with the words".
Wang Hongjun was enlightened by tutoring when he was young, and followed his grandfather to learn seal characters, seal carving, two-finger painting, painting, and folk art. For more than 40 years, he has practiced and explored the arduous road of the cultural inheritance of "Plum Blossom Seal Characters", striving to be able to make every work achieve the natural teaching method while being able to be innovative. His works have paintings in the characters, words in the paintings, and the integration of calligraphy and paintings, which have unique artistic characteristics and are unique in the field of plum blossom seal art.

In 2000, he was invited by the Ministry of Culture to attend the "2000 Contemporary Chinese Spirit Symposium" in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, and his works were exhibited in the Great Hall of the People and won the certificate of artistic value, and were received and inscribed by Li Ruihuan and other national leaders
In September 2000, the Quality Department of the Cultural Market Development Center of the Ministry of Culture identified the review and appraisal to join the ISC 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003 art quality value evaluation network system, and the Chinese Ministry of Culture is one of the first choices of calligraphers and painters to enter the network.
In 2009, in the 9th Sino-European Friendship and Cultural Exchange Activity, his plum blossom seal character works were exhibited and collected in the Vienna Golden Hall, and Wang Hongjun won the titles of "Special History of Sino-European Friendship Culture" and "Oriental Plum Chinese Tibetan Character Master";
