On the eve of the National Day, at the invitation of the Heyuan Zengzi Cultural Research Association (Preparatory Committee), more than 10 people from the Huizhou Zengzi Cultural Promotion Association made a special trip to the Yuancheng District of Heyuan City to carry out clan friendship and cultural exchange activities with the descendants of the local Zengzi.
On the same day, accompanied by Zeng Qinong, president of the Zengzi Cultural Research Association (Preparatory Committee) of Heyuan City, Zeng Zhaoxian, president of the Zengzi Cultural Research Association of Yuancheng District, and others, Zeng Zhiguang, Zeng Zibin, Zeng Xingfeng, Zeng Shuimin, Zeng Weiqing, and others of the Huizhou Zengzi Cultural Promotion Association visited the private schools run and established by the descendants of Zengzi in Heyuan City, and at the same time visited the Huangzidong Village in Yuancheng District and the site of the Zengzi Cultural Memorial Hall that is being built.
After visiting Huizhou and Heyuan, the descendants of Zengzi believe that funds should be raised as soon as possible to repair and improve the follow-up construction of the Heyuan Zengzi Cultural Memorial Hall.
Previously, 7 members of the Heyuan Zengzi Cultural Research Association (Preparatory Committee) also went to Huizhou City to carry out Zengzi cultural exchange activities at the invitation of Zengzi Cultural Promotion Association of Huizhou City, Zeng Zhiguang, chairman of Guangdong Huimao Industrial Co., Ltd. (Heyuan Nationality), Secretary General Zeng Zibin, and others. In addition, the descendants of Heyuan Zengzi also visited the older generation of enthusiastic Zengzi cultural figures from Huizhou, Heyuan, and visited the Huizhou Zengzi Memorial Hall.
Zeng Qinong, on behalf of the Heyuan Zengzi Cultural Research Association (Preparatory Committee), also introduced the cultural activities of Heyuan Zengzi and the promotion of the registration of cultural institutions at the symposium, as well as the concept of restarting the construction of the Zengzi Cultural Memorial Hall on the banks of the XinfengJiang River.
