Once, two friends quarreled over the exchange of Feng Zikai's paintings, and Mr. Wang came to ask the reason.
One of the classmates took out a painting and handed it to mr. Wang.

The students all looked at Feng Zikai.

In order to learn painting, Feng Zikai also went to Japan to study.
In Japan, Toyoko Kai was deeply influenced by the Japanese manga artist Takehisa Yumeji, and after returning to China, he took takeuku Yumeji's painting style, combined with life creation, and published his debut painting "After people disperse, a hook of crescent moon is like water".
As soon as the painting was published, it received the attention of Zheng Zhenduo, the editor of The Literary Weekly. Soon, Feng Zikai's first manga collection, Zikai Comics, was published.
Soon, "Zi Kai Comics" became the hottest comic book of the moment, reprinted many times, and can be seen everywhere in Shanghai bookstores, schools, and old alleys.
Feng Zikai became famous in one fell swoop.
Artistic escape is a taste
After becoming famous, Feng Zikai did not want to spend his life running only for fame and fortune.
He just wanted to live a comfortable life of reading, painting and writing at home.

On the afternoon of November 6, 1937, Feng Zikai was painting at home.

The road was very difficult, the road could only rely on green baked beans and taro to fill the hunger, in order to hide from the Sun, the family could only spend the night on the boat.
But Feng Zikai can always produce a warm light in the dark time.
Feng Zikai's family wandered to Wuchang, all the way to the boat and car, everyone has mixed feelings.

The cat was snow-white, very beautiful, and looked "great as an elephant."
Feng Zikai loved it so much that he named it "White Elephant".
He was willing to be the shoveler of the "white elephant", personally adding water to feed it, bathing, and tickling it.
Later, the white elephant disappeared, and Feng Zikai did not hesitate to spend a lot of money and look around, but unfortunately, when he found it, the white elephant was dead.
Feng Zikai praised the white elephant: he has the style of a strong man, is willing to die on the battlefield, and ma ge is wrapped in a corpse. And there is the wind of a coat, and he does not want to die of illness in bed...
He even wrote an article for the white elephant, and after the article "White Elephant" was published, readers sent him cats one after another, and Feng Zikai let the children accept it, which also completely activated Feng Zikai's cat slave attribute.

Feng Zikai told his wife to increase the cost of raising cats, but his wife refused, and Feng Zikai mentioned the new sheets that were stained by cats.
The wife's flesh hurt, so she promised to give the cat a higher treatment, from 1,000 yuan per day to 3,000 yuan per day.
The big cat Nu Feng Zikai not only loves cats, but also draws cats and writes cats, so that cats can climb on their heads.

Warm heart, not afraid of cold
Cats to Feng Zikai are the hope of life and the comfort of the soul, and he may not have thought that he would bring disasters because he drew cats and wrote cats.
During that special period of history, Feng Zikai was accused of many false accusations because of the article "Ami", and was attacked and criticized.
Some of his cartoons have also been turned over and made a baseless crime.
For a time, Feng Zikai became a "counter-revolutionary black painter" and was also listed as one of the "Top Ten Key Criticism Targets in Shanghai".
Seeing that his lifelong favorite comics have been trampled on and he has been charged with false accusations, Feng Zikai is saddened, but he still actively faces every day.

In those days, although he was forced to do his own reluctant things every day, his heart was open enough.
After each "review" was written, he spread the material on the table and let everyone appreciate it, looking insulted.

During this time, he achieved remarkable results, writing a large number of poems, translating four works, and completing the creation of the "Collection of Nursing Paintings".
After that, Feng Zikai's condition continued to deteriorate. On September 2, 1975, the master died peacefully. Feng Zikai's life has been full of wind and frost, and he yearns for a quiet life, but he is forced to leave his hometown;
The homeland he painstakingly built was ruthlessly destroyed by the war; he devoted himself to artistic creation, but he was inexplicably persecuted. But throughout his life, he was still tough and upright.
In the face of the wind and rain of the world, he is open-minded and not shocked.
With his actions and fruitful writings, he tells the world: do not be confused in the heart, do not be trapped in feelings. Don't be afraid of the future, don't think about the past.
As the Mai family said: dare to die is not called courage, living only needs courage.
When the ground was full of sixpence, Feng Zikai was the one who looked up and saw the moon.
