Overview:
After Honduras severed diplomatic relations with Taiwan, there are only two so-called diplomatic relations between Taiwan in Central America, and the total number of countries in the world is 13. Honduras has a total area of 112,090 square kilometers, a total GDP of $30,116 million and a total population of 9587522. Honduras ranks second among the former 14 countries with diplomatic relations with Taiwan, third in terms of total GDP, and second in terms of total population.
Minister Qin Gang and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Honduras signed a communiqué on the establishment of diplomatic relations
At present, only two of Taiwan's 13 diplomatic relations with an area of more than 100,000 square kilometers are Guatemala and Paraguay, only three have a total GDP of more than 10 billion US dollars, and only three have a population of more than 5 million, Guatemala, Haiti and Paraguay. However, 8 have an area of less than 1,000 square kilometers, and 6 have a population of less than 100,000.
Most of these 13 countries have strong ties with major Western countries. Their diplomacy, politics, defense, and economy are controlled by Western countries.
United Kingdom:
There are six Commonwealth countries in diplomatic relations with Taiwan: Belize, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Tuvalu and Nauru. Of these six countries, only Nauru has its own elected head of state, while the other five have the King of the United Kingdom as their head of state.

United States
Two of the countries that have diplomatic relations with Taiwan are associated with the United States: the Marshall Islands and Palau. These two countries are dependent on the United States for defense and largely dependent on American aid for their national economies. The United States has the right to station troops in these two countries, and no other country may allow troops to station there without the permission of the United States. The U.S. military can also recruit soldiers in both countries. These two countries are not in fact fully independent and sovereign States.

Neither country issues its own legal tender and both use the US dollar as their legal tender.
Australia
Nauru was first discovered by British whaling ships, but became a German colony in 1886 under an agreement between Britain and Germany. It was occupied by Australia after World War I. It was occupied by Japan during World War II. It has been controlled by Australia since World War II. It gained independence in 1968, but has been controlled by Australia ever since.

At present, the Australian dollar is the official currency of Nauru, the defense is the responsibility of Australia, and the Minister of Finance of Nauru is also sent by Australia.
In addition, Tuvalu's legal tender is also the Australian dollar, and the Tuvaluan dollar that is circulating in the country is actually another circulating version of the Australian dollar.
military
Of the 13 countries with diplomatic relations with Taiwan, 10 except Guatemala, Paraguay and Belize have no formal troops.
Haiti
Although Haiti is located in the Caribbean Sea, the backyard of the United States, and has a population of more than 10 million, the national economy has been at a low level due to the country's long period of political turmoil, which makes even the United States less willing to interfere in its internal affairs.

Vatican City
Although the Vatican is the smallest diplomatic country in Taiwan, it is also the most influential country because it is the center of Catholicism in the world.

In addition, among these 13 countries, four countries, Saint Lucia, Nauru, the Marshall Islands, and Belize, have repeatedly established diplomatic relations with the two sides of the strait. At present, Paraguay, Guatemala and Belize have strong news of establishing diplomatic relations with the mainland.
