Located in northern Namibia, the Etosha Salt Plains are about 96 kilometers long, 48 kilometers wide, and 1,030 meters above sea level at the bottom, with an area of 4,800 square kilometers, making it the largest salt marsh in Africa. During the dry season, the Etosha salt marsh is shining green, uneven, cracked and occasionally skimming by rapid dust storms and whirlwinds. On the saline soil, traces of hunting crisscross the sea.
