Mojang's latest update to Minecraft launches today on April 24 with the arrival of the highly anticipated new wildlife companion, the Armadillo, for both Minecraft: Java Edition and Minecraft: Bedrock Edition.
- The new wild animal armadillo does not become the player's partner, and will form a ball to take a defensive stance if there is a strange movement around it, and generally lives in the wilderness or grassland area.
- Players will get scute items after defeating the armadillo, which can be used to create wolf armor and equip wolves, and the update also brings eight new visual effects for wolves, making them stronger and more reliable after equipping wolf armor.
