The TV series "Newlywed Apartment" is a contemporary youth urban comedy directed by Chen Chang and co-starring Li Jiahang, Li Sheng, Tian Lei, Guan Le, Zhang Yufei and Guo Jiahao.
The drama tells the story of TV director Xie Xiaojun and public relations company white-collar female white-collar Wu Yue, who married when they had only known each other for five months, trying to find the ultimate answer to marriage. As the freshness of love is replaced by chai rice oil and salt, Xie Xiaojun and Wu Yue find that marriage is not what they imagined: they encounter new problems and encounter new tests every day; in daily chores, they grope for marriage and solve their "firsts" one after another.
The lives of Xie Xiaojun and Wu Yue are not only "wars" between the two people, but they must also work together to deal with the situation caused by the visit of relatives and friends at any time. They have a "chattering" duo composed of Wu Yue's former boss, now girlfriend Su Lai and husband Martin, Wu Yue's unreliable cousin Sasha, Xie Xiaojun's damaged friend Ouyang Chendi, and parents who cause family nuclear explosions from time to time, and even dogs can be in constant trouble.
