I've seen many castles along the way during my trip to Ireland, but for me, the most important was Slane Castle. Outside the castle gate of this Conyngham family in Ireland, there is an open lawn with slopes. The owner of the castle, Marquis Henry, must be a huge rock 'n' roll fan, and since 1981, he has hosted N concerts 🎤 on this lawn, including a long list of names that have shone in the history of rock and pop music - Rolling Stones, U2, Gunflowers, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Queen, David Bowie, Neil Young, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, R.E.M., Bon Jovi, Oasis, Madonna, Brian Adams, Robbie Williams...

The regular guest here is the great U2 band, and in 1984 U2 lived in the castle for half a year, during which time he wrote the album "Unforgettable Flame". My favorite in the castle are the windows, the lush hills with no end in sight, like a landscape painting hanging there. When a concert is held on the grass outside the castle, every window facing the stage becomes a great place to watch the performance [haha]
