In April 1988, Tina Turner released the live concert album "Tina Live in Europe", for which she once again won the Grammy Award for Best Female Rock Vocalist.

After the tour, Tina Turner continued to concentrate on writing during her break in 1989, and on September 13, 1989, she released her seventh solo album, Foreign Affair. Then, in 1996, Virgin Records released a new album, Wildest Dreams, for Tina Turner, which was released in Europe in April 1996 and in the United States in September. For nearly two years, in conjunction with the promotion of the album, she launched a tour called "Wildest Dreams Tour". She completed 250 performances in Europe, North America and Australia, lasting nearly 16 months, surpassing the last "Break Every Rule Tour," and her European box office revenue was about $100 million. The tour concluded on July 27, 1997 at Radio City Music Hall (6,000 seats) in New York, where five consecutive shows were sold out.
